John Brinkmann is an ABC-certified and Illinois-licensed CPO at CPO Rockford with over 30 years of clinical experience. A second-generation practitioner and graduate of UT Southwestern Medical Center, John specializes in lower limb prosthetics and orthotics. He is a recognized leader in the field, serving as an Associate Professor at Northwestern University (NUPOC) and holding the prestigious title of Fellow with Distinction from the AAOP.
John has authored textbook chapters on prosthetic gait and frequently contributes to industry publications. His clinical approach is rooted in a deep desire to help patients reach their full potential. By focusing on individual goals and utilizing his extensive background in gait biomechanics, John ensures every patient receives the expert care necessary to regain their mobility and independence.
