CPO's Prosthetic Clinic Day is a unique opportunity to receive professional feedback on your current prosthesis, learn about new options that may improve your quality of life, and connect with others who understand the journey of limb loss. Whether you’re seeking solutions, exploring possibilities, or just looking for support, this event is designed to empower and inform every amputee who attends.
This clinic is open to all amputees—whether you are newly navigating life with limb loss or have been using a prosthesis for years. It’s especially valuable for those who may be struggling with socket fit, experiencing comfort or mobility challenges, or are curious about new prosthetic technology. Individuals who feel their current device isn’t meeting their needs, or who are simply looking to stay informed and empowered, are strongly encouraged to attend.
What can attendees expect at the event?
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a certified prosthetist to review their current prosthesis and discuss any concerns they may be having. Our team will provide insights into the latest advancements in prosthetic technology, as well as practical tips for optimizing comfort and mobility. The event will also offer a supportive space for amputees to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Is there anything attendees need to do to prepare?
No formal preparation is required. However, we encourage attendees to bring their current prosthetic device, wear clothing that makes it easy to assess their prosthesis if needed, and come with any questions or concerns they'd like to discuss. If available, bringing past documentation or fitting notes can also be helpful.
