Donald W. “Don” Goertzen is a Certified and Licensed Prosthetist and Orthotist and an amputee himself, caring for patients at CPO since he co-founded the company in 2005. Don is the President of CPO and sees patients throughout the entire company.
Don provides prosthetic and orthotic care at all of the CPO locations for adult and pediatric patients. He specializes in C-Leg, Harmony, Helix Leg, Rheo Knee, Limb-Logic, Utah Arm, and Surestep, RCR transtibial, Transfemoral expert, MAS socket, Bikini hip socket, Genium knee, Helix Hip, and other specialties.
Don graduated from Cerritos College with a degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1978 and the UCLA Prosthetic Program in 1981. He is certified by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics and is licensed by the State of Illinois. He is also a member of the International Society for Prosthetists & Orthotists. Don is the Chief Clinical Officer and prosthetic trainer for CPO practitioners.
Outside of the office, Don enjoys his time playing golf, collecting firearms, fishing, and spending time with his family.
